It's not easy to set up a detailed plan for the next 4 months, because it's really a long time period. I usually have goals that I want to achieve, and then try to achieve them all. So these are the goals that I want to achieve in for months:

1. I'll try to get good results in all the subjects of the semester, as good as possible. Finish the semester with good results and of course, build up my knowledge through what I learn and what I see. That will support my bigger dream of studying abroad for my master degree.

2. I missed the chance this summer to go visit my friends because of some stupid reasons. So for the next 4 months, I'll work hard to make up for it. I really hope that I'll really do it after the semester ends.

For me, I think that every single thing, every single day makes my whole life. So I won't make the plan for the whole 4 months but plan for every single day. I'm not so ambitious to dream of any huge achievements like those people I read about. I'll just simply live my life as myself, simply be myself. Always live with my highest enthusiasm, devote myself in everything I do.

1. Study hard
2. Work hard
3. Play hard

And one more thing, I'm trying to find another job, and I'll try my bets to make it.

Just parts of my life

I was born as the oldest child in the family, I have a younger brother, who is seven years younger than me. For the first 7 years of my life, when I was considered the only child, I lived a very happy life, even though the family had a hard life then, my parents still tried to give me all the best. The day I saw my baby brother, I first realized that I was no longer the center of my parents’ world. That was obviously not a good idea, of course. But since I like all cute stuff, a very cute and chubby baby brother got into my life so easily. I didn’t need to be trained to take care of my brother, which surprised me also :P

In my father’s family, and even the whole clan, three fourth of the relatives are teachers. It’s like a tradition of the whole family. Therefore, my dad wanted me to become a teacher (he still mentions it sometimes). On the other hand, my mother has been working in the Medical school of the military for over 10 years, she wanted me to become a doctor one day. In the end, I chose my own path, I want to become a diplomat.

I love traveling, unfortunately I haven't got chances to fulfill my interest recently :( I love making friends. Friends play the greatest parts of my life up to now. One of my very special friends is the girl living next door. We have been together since we were just babies. Our parents got married on the same day, in the same place, and what a coincident, we’ve been living next to each other for over 20 years already.

It’s not easy to write all about my over-20-year-life in here, just consider this is something about me, something you should know about me, something I want to tell about me. There should be more than this… :P

The obituary of Christopher Nolan

After reading through quite a lot of the people’s obituary in The Economist Magazine, I came to the decision to write about Christopher Nolan. It’s not that other people are not as impressed, it’s just because Christopher himself and the way he struggled through his crippled life caught my admiration.

The deprivation of oxygen for two hours when he was born didn’t kill him, but the remnants of it caused the suffering all along his life. He looked just like a normal, healthy person, but unfortunately his whole body was palsied. He could communicate only by gentle moves of his head, his eyes, or his feet.

Despite the disability, he proved to the world that he was not a useless person. He showed his intelligence through his songs, stories, and poems. When he was 11, he first learnt how to express all his ideas through words with a rubber-tipped stick strapped to his forehead and a typewriter. That was a really hard work for such a weak body, but he managed to write many poems, a novel, and even an autobiography. His autobiography won him the prize of Whitbread Book of the Year in 1988.

Christopher Nolan was just one among thousands of unlucky people who are suffering from disability. However, he made himself special by living with positive views towards life.

Christopher once again remind me of how lucky I am now, having a happy and healthy life, going to college with family and friends around. He’s a model for people struggling through life positively. When his body couldn’t do things, he used words to do instead, as the saying goes: where there’s a will, there’s a way…
